Setup guide for your Checklick Storefront

This guide is for Checklick Storefront users—or anyone exploring a payment and registration system. It walks you through an 8-step process from getting started to sharing your club's live payment and registration page.

Depending on your offerings and comfort level, setup can take as little as 15 minutes. Say goodbye to chasing cheques, cash, or paper forms.

Important to note that if you are a new user of Storefront, Checklick offers the setup of your Storefront and we do the setup for you within 3 business days. Schedule a consulation to learn more.

Step 1: Create a Checklick Account

If you already have an account, skip to Step 2. Otherwise, sign up at the Checklick platform to access your organization's setup.

For account creation and basic login help, refer to related articles in the Help Center (e.g., on resetting passwords or managing accounts).

Step 2: Link the Bank Account for Deposits

After creating your account, connect the bank account that will receive deposits. Checklick uses Stripe as the payment processor. Depending on your business type (Sole Proprietorship, Partnership, Corporation, or Non-Profit), you may need:

  • Bank institution, branch, and account number

  • SIN/SSN for the representative (may be required for verification)

  • Date of birth for the representative

  • Business address, phone, email

  • Business Tax ID

  • Revenue info

  • Eventually, a photo ID upload (e.g., driver's license) if requested by Stripe via email (often within months)

Note: Use the same password for your Checklick and Stripe accounts for convenience. You'll rarely need to access Stripe directly unless updating bank details.

To connect:

  • Log into Checklick

  • Go to the Storefront section

  • Follow prompts in the Bank Account Connection area (e.g., "Account Setup Required")

For Stripe-specific guidance, see these Help Center articles:

Once connected, you'll see a Stripe ID in the Bank Account Connection section.

Step 3: Select Your Storefront URL

Choose a custom Storefront URL using your organization's name (e.g., https://yourclubname.checklick.com).

This is the main link to share with your website admin or members for registrations and payments.

Step 4: Set Up Products and SKUs

On your Storefront, you can add any number of products and sub-product offerings.

There are 4 different product types:

  1. Course
  2. Event
  3. Item
  4. Membership

sub-product offering is a session that is added under the product. As an example, you can create a course product type called, "Introductory Gymnastics", and create the sub-product offering with start and end dates, a set price and any details about the sub-product offering.

To create a product and a sub-product offering, follow these steps:

  1. Log into your Checklick account
  2. Go to Preview and Edit under the Storefront tab
  3. Click on add new product (You'll notice your first sub-product offering has been created)
  4. Click on the gear icon to the left of the product name
  5. The gear icon will reveal a few options
  6. Product settings will allow you to select 4 different types of products and choose whether you'd like the product to be purchased by the same person more than once
