# Name resources and set up instructor notifications
## Identify resources, assign instructors and control customer selection and notifications.
Individual resource tracking helps distinguish courts, boats, equipment or instructors that are available during the same time slot. You can assign an evaluator to a resource and let customers choose a resource when appropriate.
### Name your resources
1. Open the offering under **Storefront → Options → Bookings**.
2. Set the capacity to match the number of available resources.
3. Enable individual resource tracking.
4. Open the resource naming control.
5. Enter a recognizable name for each resource, such as “Court A,” “Kayak 2” or “Training boat 12.”
6. Save the resource names and the offering.
Each name identifies one resource. For an offering with three boats, enter a separate name for each boat.
### Assign a coach or instructor
Choose the appropriate evaluator for each resource using the assignment selector. This connects the resource’s bookings with that person’s schedule. For example, assign one instructor to Training boat 12 and another to Training boat 14.
Leave a resource unassigned when no evaluator needs to be associated with it. Assignment does not grant manager permissions.
### Choose whether customers select a resource
Enable customer resource selection when customers should choose an available boat, court or instructor. If selection is not enabled, the system assigns an available resource.
Resource naming and customer choice are separate settings. Naming resources does not automatically enable customer selection. Availability depends on the selected times and the resource’s existing bookings.
### Booking notifications and schedule access
The assigned coach or instructor can receive notifications when a booking is made, moved or cancelled. Evaluators can open **My Schedule** to view their assigned bookings and session details across organizations.
Managers handle rescheduling. Evaluators should contact the relevant organization manager when an assigned booking needs to change.
